Meet Jim Lowe… retiree who now volunteers in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Today I came across an article that covers the numbers when it comes to volunteers in the Smokies.  Check this out.  2,780 volunteers spent some 117,537 hours helping out in the park.  It’s clear the park wouldn’t be what it is without their help.  The article also focuses on Jim Lowe.  He retired to the Smoky Mountains area, and now volunteers doing a wide range of things as needed in the Smokies.  This sounds like what I wouldn’t mind doing in retirement.  Read more about Jim below.
